Getting Started With Us

Wondering where to begin and what to expect? Here's our simple process for getting started with a therapist at Creative Coping.

Please be advised that our child and adolescent clinicians are only able to provide services for children ages 6 and older.

Schedule a Call With Us

To avoid playing phone tag with us, you can schedule a phone call at your convenience. Use the link below to fill out a short contact form, then you'll be prompted to choose a time for your 15-minute call. We'll call you then.

 

15 Minute Phone Call

Our Intake Coordinator will call you at the scheduled time. You'll go over basic information, and have a short conversation about what you are looking for, and how we can help. If it seems that Creative Coping is a good fit for what you need, we'll invite you to enter your information into our client portal, verify your insurance benefits, and schedule a first session.

Intake Appointment

During your first session, your therapist will review your goals, your history, and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. If the person starting therapy is a child, we will also schedule an additional intake session with the parents only.

Treatment Recommendations

Once the intake has been completed, your therapist will consult with the clinical team and develop specific treatment recommendations for you and/or your family. We will work with you to create a "roadmap" to meet your goals, so that you know what you can expect from the process.
