About Us
At Creative Coping, we know that life can feel overwhelming at any age—and no one should have to figure it out alone. We’re an outpatient mental health practice in Bedford, MA, created in response to something we kept seeing in our community: families and individuals who wanted support, but couldn’t find accessible, in-person, insurance-based care. We built Creative Coping to change that.

A Team That Supports the Whole Family
Everyone deserves a therapist who really understands their age, stage, and unique challenges. That’s why our team ranges from clinicians who love working with elementary-age kids, to clinicians who “get” angsty teens, to therapists who support young adults, parents, and even empty nesters navigating big transitions. No matter where you are in the family system—or in life—we have someone who’s the right fit.
We also know that when a child or teen is struggling, parents feel it too. That’s why we make space for the whole family. Whether you’re looking for support for yourself, your child, or everyone together, we’re here to help you feel more grounded, connected, and capable.
Our Philosophy
At Creative Coping, we believe that mental health is health. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” what’s wrong—it’s about learning life skills: communicating better, managing emotions, building confidence, and creating healthier patterns. These are things everyone benefits from, at any age.
Our approach is rooted in evidence-based practices delivered with warmth, curiosity, and a down-to-earth style. We want therapy to feel like a space where you can exhale, be honest, and feel supported without judgment.
Accessible Care That Fits Real Life
We’re committed to making high-quality therapy available to the people who need it. That’s why we offer both in-person sessions and telehealth, and we do our best to accommodate after-school hours—because kids and teens shouldn’t have to choose between therapy and their day-to-day lives.
We also accept insurance and are in-network with many commercial health plans. Getting help shouldn’t feel complicated or out of reach.
